Until summer 2020, when we moved to Sweden, we ran a licensed owl rescue & rehab in Germany. Orphaned, injured and ill owls found a safe place with us until they were ready for a soft release (meaning that the birds decide when they are ready to leave).

In 2021 we opened Sweden's first macropod sanctuary on our organic farm on Gotland. We finances all of it through book & merch sales.
