Reading order

You have three options to start reading this series. Each can be read independently but connects to the overarching mystery.

• The Lion's Courtship is the prequel to everything. It introduces the heroine, her dangerous life in the slums of Victorian London, and her blossoming relationship with an Irish thief as they're hunting down a killer.
• The Devil's Grin is the first book in the award-winning Kronberg & Holmes mystery/thriller series. If you love Holmes, a heart-stopping medical mystery, and the beginnings of biological warfare, start here!
• Silent Witnesses is the start of the Arlingon & McCurley Mysteries. We follow our heroine to Boston where she tries to start a new life with a new identity. Alas, she never seems to be able to stay away from serial killers and grumpy detectives...

Hi, I’m Annelie, and I love telling stories. The adorable fluffball perched on my head is my sidekick, Sarah.
